Scintillating City
I'd wanted to integrate the "scintillating grid" effect into a picture, and a stylized Los Angeles skyline seemed like the perfect subject. This image also contains symmetry: the outline of the negative space duplicates that of the city and mountains (if the picture is rotated 180°, the skyline's contours remain the same).
